Installing a TextMate Theme

This tutorial will walk you through how to download themes from TM Themes, and install them to your TextMate install. Although this tutorial is rather short, and very simple and easy, it's here to help the people who feel they need help. Although this tutorial is based off of the Video Tutorial, it is much more recommended to watch how it's done than rather reading it. Happy TextMating!

Locate The Downloaded Theme

Once you find that right theme, say ForLaTeX, click "download now", and locate it from where your files are downloaded to. If you are in Leopard, default is your Downloads Folder in your dock.

After you have located the theme, it should have a neat little tye dye icon with a .tmTheme extension. Now that's all left to do is double-click on it, and TextMate should install it automaticly and set it as it's current theme.
